Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif on Saturday pointed out how Virat Kohli was criticised and everyone assumed his white-ball career was over after he scored two ducks in the three-match ODI series against Australia. But since then, the latter has been in brilliant touch.
In the IPL 2026 opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28, Kohli hammered an unbeaten 69 off 38 deliveries, guiding Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a commanding victory.
Kohli has been in brilliant form, racking up big scores in white-ball cricket and leaving critics with no ammunition.
After the game, Kaif posted in support of Kohli, highlighting his stellar performances and reminding fans of his class.
“Imagine after two ducks in Australia, they said Virat Kohli was over. His last 10 scores in white ball cricket are – 74, 135, 102, 65, 131, 77, 93 , 23, 124 and 69 n.o in this match,” Kaif tweeted on Saturday night.
