Rajasthan Royals, the winners of the inaugural edition of the lucrative T20 league, aim to add another star to their jersey and end a wait of over a decade and a half, bolstered by new talent in their ranks. In a significant boost to RR’s title aspirations, former fan favourite Ravindra Jadeja, who was part of the Rajasthan side that clinched the title in 2008, rejoins the team after a highly successful 12-year stint with CSK. RR’s batting order appears strong, featuring established names such as Jaiswal, Sooryavanshi, skipper Riyan Parag, and Jurel, along with Windies dynamo Shimron Hetmyer and English all-rounder Sam Curran. Kumar Sangakkara believes he has found the right balance to lead the side to the playoffs and ultimately secure another star for the renowned RR jersey.
