East Bengal FC kicked off its Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 campaign with a dominant 3-0 win over NorthEast United FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Monday.
Spanish forward Youssef Ezzejjari secured a second-half brace while Miguel Figueira found the back of the net in the second minute of added time as the Red and Gold Brigade took all three points in front of their home supporters.
EBFC will next host Sporting Club Delhi on February 21 while the Highlanders will travel to face Bengaluru FC the following day.
